Luxury Villa Rental In Bali
Bali is an Indonesian island located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island.
The island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority. About 93.18% of Bali's population adheres to Balinese Hinduism, while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.
An offshoot of tourism is the growing real estate industry in Bali. Bali real estate has been rapidly developing in the main tourist districts of Kuta, Legian, Seminyak and Oberoi. Most recently, high end 5 star projects are under development on the Bukit peninsula on the south side of the island. Million dollar villas are springing up along the cliff sides of south Bali, commanding panoramic ocean views. Foreign and domestic investment into other areas of the island also continues to grow. Land prices, despite the worldwide economic crisis have remained stable.
Bali is developing as a tourist destination and visitors flock to the island for the lovely temperatures, culture and night life that there is for the visitors. Denpasar is the Capital of Bali and has in the region of 200,000 residents followed by Singaraja located towards the North of the island.
The main tourist area until now been Kuta although more recently this is shifting as Bali is developing more of the island. There are many luxury villas to rent in Bali and Kuta also has a number of resorts as well as guest house style lodging. The ocean at Kuta beach can be exceptionally risky you should take care when swimming in the sea. Very strong rip tides are common. Great care must be taken when swimming in this area and you must swim between the flags which let you know where or if it is safe to swim.
There are a lot of developing regions in the south of Bali, like Nusa Dua, that is home to a sizable amount of 5 star resorts. Nusa Dua has beaches on both sides of it and attracts people from all over the island. Jimbaran is also an area has grown in popularity and is a terrific place to drink cocktails and watch the sun sink which Bali is known for.
There are various great places for the surf dude in Bali and it is common place to rent a beach front private villa with direct access to the beach and surf. Most of the area's big beachfront hotels are in the southern section of Tuban.
There are a great deal of beach front resorts in Bali, some of which are available in Sanur which is the East of Denpasar. You will find also a lot of foreigners living in the Sanur area and there are a lot of long term rental villas available.
There are many fine dining places in Bali lots of which can be discovered in Seminyak as well as a lot of the top boutique hotels. Legian and Seminyak are northern extensions of Kuta along Jl. Legian and Jl. Basangkasa. They are somewhat quieter suburbs with cottage-style accommodations, where many of the expat crowd live.
There is a lot to do and see in Bali and property rental is usually straightforward to discover. Everything from biking in the hills and mountains to diving going on for the coast where there is a wealth of sea life to see and coral to explore. Water sports are also a major attraction and are much cheaper to do than in other tourist hotspots going on for the world.
Whether you wish to stay in a luxury clifftop villa, a beach front villa or a ricefields view villa in one of the main tourist areas, you will have a nice time in Bali. It is a time you will never forget.

Aside from Bali, what other island would you say is the most exotic in Indonesia?
I'm thinking of planning a trip to Indonesia later in the year. Been to Bali and Lombok but would like to see something very different.
As an Indonesian myself, I would say that most of the places in Indonesia is alot exotic. But if I must sugggest is that to Pulau Jawa, more like Jawa Barat (west Java) like Bandung, Garut, Tasikmalaya and Bogor. Not only because of the nice mountain scenery, people there are much more friendly. Also you should check out Jawa Tengah (mid Java), lots of exotic places to go. So enjoy!!!
