I have always liked Intex airbeds. I've had fond memories with these beds when I was little and had friends who would sleep over. Now that I have my own family, I made sure we have the same spare bed I've come to love. Is this swimming water safe?
I have a intex easy set pool. I checked the ph and it's good. But the alkalinity is way too low it's at 0 is it safe to swim does it really matter if I just go ahead and jump in later. I put all the chemicals in yesterday afternoon and checked the ph this morning. So is it safe.
If the pH is correct, low alkalinity doesn't make it unsafe, but it may be more difficult to maintain the pH. You can increase the alkalinity by adding sodium bicarbonate (ordinary baking soda). You may need to add a little acid to restore the proper pH after adjusting the alkalinity.
