whats the point of having dark lenses on swim goggles?
Ok so i found my old swim goggles that im gonna use at the ymca tomorrow, i love swimming under water but the lenses are all dark 
can anyone explain why their like this?
and no i dont have the money to go out and buy new ones, so if theres any way i can make the lenses lighter i would be happier than pie 
The reason the goggles are dark is for lap swimming outdoors. I have swam outdoors with both dark and clear, dark work just like sunglasses.
